2. Information We Collect
We collect information necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and improve PomuBots.
2.1 Account Information
When you register for PomuBots, we collect:
- Email address
- Username
- Date of birth
- Profile photographs and other profile information you choose to provide
- Authentication and account-related information
Passwords are managed through Neon Auth. Passwords are hashed and are not stored in a form that allows the PomuBots team to view or retrieve your original password.
If you cannot access your account, you may request a password reset. The reset process allows you to establish a new password without revealing your previous one.
2.2 Conversations and AI Personalization
PomuBots stores conversations between users and their AI companions to provide the platform's core functionality.
Our systems may analyze conversation history through automated processes to extract relevant preferences, information, and contextual details. This allows individual companions to remember previous interactions and adapt their responses to their respective owners.
This personalization is specific to the relevant user. Conversation information is not used to train shared AI models or improve other users' companions.
PomuBots team members do not routinely manually inspect private conversations.
You should avoid sharing passwords, financial information, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive personal information with your AI companions.
2.3 Uploaded Content and Attachments
Users may upload photographs, media, and other attachments.
Uploaded files are stored using Cloudflare infrastructure. These files are used to provide platform features and are not intended to be publicly accessible or shared with other users without your action or authorization.
PomuBots team members do not routinely open or inspect private uploaded files. Access may be necessary where legally required or when investigating security incidents, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service.
2.4 Device and Technical Information
We may automatically collect technical information, including:
- IP addresses
- Browser and device information
- Operating system information
- Session information
- Usage and interaction logs
- Technical performance information
- Security-related events
This information helps us maintain platform security, identify suspicious activity, troubleshoot technical issues, and improve service reliability.
Users can view their active sessions through account settings and log out of other sessions if they suspect unauthorized account access.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information for purposes including:
- Creating and managing user accounts.
- Providing AI companion functionality.
- Maintaining conversation history and personalization.
- Storing and displaying uploaded content.
- Managing authentication and account security.
- Detecting suspicious activity and preventing abuse.

We do not currently use private AI conversations to generate personalized advertisements.
4. AI Processing and Personalization
PomuBots uses artificial intelligence to provide interactive digital companions with customizable personalities, behaviors, and communication styles.
To provide these features, conversation information and relevant contextual data may be processed by our AI infrastructure.
We use automated personalization systems to help individual companions retain relevant context and adapt to their respective users.
This information remains within the PomuBots service environment and is not used to train shared AI models or personalize other users' experiences.
AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. Users should exercise their own judgment when interpreting AI-generated information.
PomuBots companions are software-based AI systems and should not be understood as human beings or professional advisors.
